When do we pay?
When you book, you will need to pay a deposit (see details at the rates page), with the balance payable 30 days before your arrival date. You can make payment with a credit card, e-checks through our "Pay Pal" payment option. (See also our cancellation policy at the rates page.)
What are check-in & check-out times?
Your home will be available for check-in at 4:00 p.m. Your check-out time is 10:00 a.m. on your departure date. A vacation home requires more time to clean than a hotel room. Therefore, please help us prepare for our next guest by checking out on time.
What about security?
Windsor Hills Resort is a secure community with a gatehouse which is manned 24/7.
How close is Windsor Hills to the Disney Theme Parks?
It will genuinely take you just over 5 minutes to get to Disney Theme Parks.
Is there shopping nearby?
Yes, the Formosa Gardens Boulevard area has a grocery store, 24 hour Walgreen’s drug store and supermarket. There are many restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets from mouth watering Steak Houses to Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Asian, Burgers and Pizza restaurants and Gas Stations.
Is there transportation to the parks?
Transportation is available to most Theme Parks and several Shopping Malls (at an additional charge). The time table, which changes monthly, is displayed inside the Windsor Hills on-site sundry shop.
Is the resort pool heated?
Windsor Hills Resort offers you the perfect vacation community including an Olympic-sized swimming pool in the clubhouse complex. It is available to all guests and is heated at no extra cost during the winter months.
Do you provide air conditioning and heat?
Yes, our homes have central air conditioning and heat.
Are your kitchens fully equipped?
Yes, our homes have a fully equipped kitchen including cooking utensils, silverware, dishes, stove, microwave, refrigerator (with ice maker), coffee maker, toaster and dishwasher, everything you need for the perfect vacation.
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, ample linen and towels are provided in our homes.
Are there laundry facilities?
Yes, there is a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board in our homes.
Are there cleaning supplies?
We provide regular cleaning items such as a mop, broom, dustpan and vacuum. As this style of vacation is classed as self-catering, you will be responsible for other needs, such as soap etc. There is an on-site sundry shop and supermarkets and grocery stores close to the resort.
Is the home cleaned daily?
No, our homes are cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure. There is no cleaning charge unless you stay less than 6 nights. A mid-stay clean and shine can be arranged at additional cost.
Is the home non smoking?
Yes, our homes are NON SMOKING! In accordance with Florida State Laws, our homes and communal areas are designated No Smoking areas.
Do you allow pets in your homes?
No, we do not allow pets in our homes.
Where do we pick up the keys?
When you book ask for our easy procedure. You will be provided with a complete check-in package with all information upon making a reservation.
What if something is not working at our condo?
Our homes are brand new. Our local management company maintains the homes in tip top condition all the time. You will be provided with their telephone number and they are normally available 24/7 in the unlikely event that there is a problem with our homes. An after hours number is provided for emergencies only.
Does the lanai have screens?
Yes. Our lanai has a fine mesh screen allowing in the glorious Florida sunshine but keeps out those pesty bugs. There is also a privacy screen.
How many people can stay in our condo?
Our homes are properly licensed. Florida State license dictates how many people can stay in our homes. A maximum of 12 guest may stay in our homes. This count does not include children under 3 years old.
Are all the resort amenities included in the price?
All resort amenities are free to all our guests at no extra charge.
